ABC's of Salvation

ADMIT that YOU are a sinner. We all have done things that displease the one true God. God tells us that no sin can enter heaven. Something must be done to get rid of your sin.

Romans 3:23 "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

Revelation 21:27 "And there in no wise enter into it (heaven) any thing that defiles, neither whatsoever worked abomination, or makes a lie: but they are written in the Lamb's book of life."

BELIEVE that Jesus died on the cross for YOU. God loves you and wants you to become His child. He loves you so much that he sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to shed His blood to save YOU from YOUR sins. He took YOUR place on the cross, and suffered the punishment for YOUR sin. Believe that HE died for your sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day.

 1Pe 2:24 Who his own self (JESUS) bare our sins in his own body on the tree (cross) , that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Col 1:14 In whom we have redemption (salvation) through His (Jesus')  blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Acts 16:31 "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shall be saved."

CONFESS your sinfulness to God, and turn from it. Tell God you're sorry for your sins and that you believe in Jesus and accept Him as you Savior from sin. This may be a simple but sincere cry from your heart, or it may be expressed out loud.

Luke 18:13 "God be merciful to me a sinner."

Romans 10:9 "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

Romans 10:13 "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

If you believe in Jesus Christ and have placed your faith and trust in Him, you, along with all the others who believe in Jesus, will spend eternity in heaven with Him.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6
